GENERAL INFORMATION
Smog hatch is an appliance that can serve to remove hot gases and fumes resulting from fire in closed areas. In some cases hatches can be used to air closed off areas.
A hatch can be mounted on the top surface of a roof surface or in a row of skylights mounted in the highest part of the roof. Our company can supply hatches in a cupola shape glazed with acryl, polycarbonate type of material or such that can be used in arch type of skylight.
The above mentioned hatches can be built in smog zones and activated in a pneumatic or electrical manner and also be included in fire signaling systems. The type that is built in a row system can have the following dimensions: 100x100 up to 180x250 cm.
Functioning effects:
- freeing fire escaping routes of harmful fumes and gases associated with fires,
- visibility improvement during fire fighting action,
- removal of hot gases protects a structure of a facility from the effects of high temperatures.
